If you’re not sure which version of the 2015 versions of Quicken is right for you, then take a look at the chart below to see the major differences between the Quicken Starter edition (retails for $39.95), the Deluxe edition (the most popular version – it retails for $74.95) and Premier edition (retails for $104.95). Remember, if you’re already using an older version of Quicken Starter, then you will not be able upload your existing data to Starter 2015 – You can only upload existing data to Deluxe or higher versions of Quicken.

Thinking of switching back to windows version from Quicken 2015 Mac, which is abysmal. Is the Deluxe version the closest to the Mac 2015 version or would Premier be a better bet if one wants to do some limited investment following (like gain and loss)?

Hi Sam,
I would say the Mac version is most similar to the Deluxe version.
Remember, regardless of the version you get and from which store, Intuit has a 60-day money back guarantee on all of their products. So if you end up not liking it, just request for a refund.
Cheers,
