For those of you that are not quite sure what the difference is between Quickbooks Pro 2016 that retails for $299.95 (now on sale for $100.00 off) and Quickbooks Premier 2016 that retails for $499.95 (now on sale for $150.00 off), we’ve found this handy chart to help you out. It highlights some the features that you’ll find in Premier vs. Pro for the extra $200.00 difference.
Remember that if you end of buying Pro or Premier and later realize that you made the wrong decision, you have a full 60 days from your purchase date to request for a full refund. And it doesn’t have to be from intuit.com; as long as you bought QuickBooks from an authorized reseller then you will be able to return to product back to Intuit for a full refund of the purchase price.
We also recommend taking a look at the QuickBooks 2016 Online editions that are pretty similar to the traditional desktop versions but specifically cloud-based. We prefer this cloud based option because your company’s file is always backed-up, you can access your books from any location and from any computer/iPad, and it’s easier to for your accountant or additional employees access the file. Plus if you upgrade your desktop version of QB every year then the most of the Online options will end up voting you less (new customers can also save up to 50% the first 6-months of service).
